Grandma/Great Gramma’s Artistry on Radio Across the World
For some thirty years, Grandma broadcast nationally and to the world. You hear here a small example of her reputation, work and achievement.
On AIR, All India Radio, she created and presented “A Date With You,” India’s most popular western music radio show, introduced each Friday evening by her theme song, Glen Miller’s “In the Mood”. The building she worked and broadcast in still stands on what was Parliament Street. (Now that’s the way to dress for work…..)
